Is the Left actually "winning" though? Numerous polls suggest that a return to 'center' is what is actually occurring--slow as it may seem. Does this mean we all go back to sleep now? I believe a vast majority of US voters are not choosing to go back to sleep. I'll add one more suggestion to the action list in this article: Consider joining ''Team America'' as well. That's some good stuff right there! Always appreciate additional perspective. The primary concern with regard to "center" is that it has been on a slide-scale. What is "center" today was considerably further "left" before. There are certain non-negotiables that were to never be threatened - ever - but, we find in recent decades the Left has entered into uncharted territory. Yes, they are winning because otherwise reasonable and civil citizens have allowed the Leftists to gain more territory within the social construct among other areas. I like your tax reference and know of some folks who have been advocating the "FairTax" for many years and they are gaining some momentum. In summary, there needs to be a sustainable run of Conservative leadership in the White House and Congress to make it impossible for Democrats to continue their path toward Socialism.
